What Does Each Role Do?
PLATFORM DUTIES:
- Produce the Show

SELLER DUTIES:
- Sell Ad Opportunities
- Ensure hosts have the correct copy for Live Reads
- Arrange hosts to receive the products/services from advertisers for Business Highlights
- Be sure product placement is ready for episodes
- Ensure Platform has Ticker Ads sold
- Follow up with Advertiser for logos, change of copy, specials etc
- Provide advertising statistics to the advertisers
HOST DUTIES:
- Host the Show(s)
- Be the primary promoter of the show(s) they host
- Run the show(s) social media
- Execute Live Reads/Business Highlights
- Periodically meet with advertisers upon request
FILM/EDITOR DUTIES:
- Set up Equipment & Film or Stream show(s)
- Set up Product Placement within Show
- Provide Live Read & Business Highlights scripts to Host(s)
- Cue Host(s) when to do Live Reads/Biz Highlights
- Write copy for show(s)
- Edit Video & Upload to Platform
- Create promo clips from video for Social Media
Requirements
to
ADD YOUR SHOW
We want every show on Streamopolis to have exposure and viewers so show hosts must commit to one of 3 options:
1. Pay a minimum of $500/mo (As low as $275 if you have someone to record & upload the content instead of needing us to do it) to have the show on the Platform (this will get you 50,000 Impressions/month promoting your show
or
2. Sell $500/mo worth of advertising or get a sponsor to cover at least $500/mo.
or
3. Have at least 5,000 social media followers & commit to post about your show 3x's/week
In addition to the financial (social media following) requirements, we expect hosts to:
• Host the Show either daily or weekly (monthly shows will only be approved on a case by case basis)
• Be the primary promoter of the show they host
• Run the show's social media
• Execute Live Reads/Business Highlights sold by either host or Streamopolis
• Periodically meet with advertisers upon request
HOSTING F.A.Q.
Q: Can a host sell and get the sales commission too?
A: YES! You are your best advocate! If a host sells, then they will earn 85% of Live Reads & Business Highlights, 35% of Co-Branded Ads, & 30% of Ticker Ads, Product Placement, and Video Ads. (If you are handling the filming & editing of the videos you will also get those percentages!)
Q: Can a host handle the filming and editing of videos and get that percentage?
A: Of course! In fact, we have equipment and technical recommendations to help you do that!
Q: Can I refuse to promote an advertiser?
A: Yes, although we do not forsee that being a problem since our goal is to have shows and other content that promote growth mindset, being grateful, being peacemakers, mental health and other general wholesome entertainment and information.
Q: Can I post my content on other platforms like YouTube or does it have to be exclusive to Streamopolis?
A: Yes, you can post to other platforms. Although, we urge you to encourage your viewers to follow you on Streamopolis as that is where advertisers will directly buy your show.
Q: What else do you provide besides a place to upload my content?
A: We want to help you be successful so the most important thing we do is try to get you followers. We do this through our unique Co-Branded Ads. Advertisers are paying to promote your show while at the same time promoting themselves. With a $500/mo investment from advertisers, your show could be getting 50,000 promotional views per month! (not the same as actual video views)

Q: If I already have been doing a show on another platform can I post my show on Streamopolis?
A: Yes, absolutely! We hope you see the advantages of working with us & shift your model to working with us more!
Q: I don't have prior experience doing radio, a podcast, a video show or anything. Can I still add my show to Streamopolis?
A: Yes. Not having prior experience does not preclude you from being on the platform. However, we may encourage you to take advantage of our coaching prior to launching a show. After all, we want advertisers to feel comfortable buying advertising for your show so you can make money!
Q: Your platform standards states that you want to have wholesome content. Does that mean I can't curse or talk about certain sensitive topics?
A: No, but if your topics or language are deemed too risky we may have your show placed on a Red page, where viewers have to sign up and prove their age before viewing your content. We do this so our advertisers feel comfortable knowing the type of content they are connected with.
Q: What else can be done to grow my show's following?
A: We have a "Quick Guide to Grow a Show" but since we're transparent, here it is!
